Delivery, Pick-Up, Shipping & Restocking Fees

 

You must be at least 21 to purchase alcohol. Upon Delivery or Pick-Up, you will need to show your ID. We continue to work in a contactless fashion, as much as possible, so please be prepared to show us your ID through a door or window, upon pick-up or delivery. 

*You may notice a small percentage being added to your order total for pickup, delivery, or shipping. This is a "handling fee" and helps to pay our staff for the time it takes to pick, pack, get your order together, and get it to you, either at your car or home.*

DELIVERIES

Yes, we deliver! We'll travel up to 8 miles in any direction to bring you amazing beer, wine, cider, sake, snacks, educational materials, t-shirts, and glassware! The inventory on our webstore is live and pulls information from our point of sale system, so you don't need to wonder if it's in-stock. As a general rule, if you see it on our site, it's on Leonard Street and available to order!

Delivery is available seven days a week during our normal and current business hours. We run three convenient delivery time windows: 12pm - 2pm, 2pm - 4pm and 4pm - 6pm. Delivery windows close 30 minutes before the specified block of time. If you are looking to place an order for delivery from 2pm - 4pm on any given day, your order must be in by 1:30pm or the window will close and you will need to choose the next available block of time. Occasionally, our drivers delay their departure a few moments, so if you've placed your order late, either add a note in the comments section of your order, call the store, or both, asking for the first available delivery time. We'll work hard to accommodate! 

Our delivery software will notify you when our driver is on the way. We will send you a text when we arrive, place the package on your doorstep, and wait to make eye contact with you and verify your ID from a safe distance. 

You must be available to receive the delivery during your specified time slot. If we cannot make contact and verify your age, we will not be able to leave your order. Orders unsuccessfully delivered will be available for you to pick up at the store within two hours. (See “Order Cancellations, Non-Deliveries & Re-Stocking Fees” below for more information.) 

 

What's the fee for delivery? 

0 - 3 miles: $0

3.01 - 6 miles: $5

6.01 - 8 miles: $10

 

If you're beyond 8 miles from our storefront, simply select "shipping". We'll get your purchase to you via a licensed alcohol delivery service. 

Each day, our delivery time windows close at 4:45pm, so we can best service orders and delivery requests placed throughout the day. If you are placing an order and it's after this time, feel free to pick it up by 7pm or simply select a future date from the calendar, which will populate our delivery times. 

PICK-UPS

Yes, you are welcome to pick up your purchase in a curbside manner. Our preference is to have you use our back parking lot, pulling into the loading zone at our back door. Call us (617-932-1885), let us know the color and model of your vehicle, open the door you'd like it placed in and we'll walk it out and put it in your car. If you have not done business with us in the past, please be prepared to show us your ID through your closed car window, before we place your order in your car. 

If you find a sweet parking spot on Leonard Street, simply inform us of this when you call! We're happy to walk your order out either door. 

SHIPPING

We have enlisted the services of UPS to assist in getting good beer to you in far corners of MA as well as other states in the US. We currently hold a UPS Beer & Wine Shipper's License which allows us to ship to many states. If you have questions about shipping beer and wine, please give us a call. UPS picks up at our location each afternoon, Monday - Friday. 

IN-STORE SHOPPING

Yes, you are welcome in our store at any time, during normal business hours: 11am - 9pm TU - SA and 11am - 7pm SU! We respectfully ask that you wear a facial covering while in our store, as this is a requirement of the Town of Belmont. This mask, scarf, bandana, or other cloth is intended to help prevent the spread of viruses, most especially, as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for helping us keep your fellow customers and our staff safe.  

 

Order Cancellations, Non-Deliveries & Restocking Fees

If your order needs to be canceled, either by your request or for reasons outlined below, you will be assessed a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee.

Our website allows you to select many different options for receiving your order, including shipping, delivery, and pickup. Please select the option that will ensure you receive your order within a few days. We aim to get your order in your hands as quickly as possible after you place it to ensure optimal storage conditions to maintain freshness and quality.

If you select pickup, please retrieve your order within seven days of the date and time you selected for pick up. If we haven't seen or heard from you within seven days, your order will be reshelved and refunded to you, less a 15% restocking fee. 

If you selected delivery at a specific time and we were unable to make that delivery to you, please contact the store and arrange pick-up of your order. If we haven't heard from you in seven days, your order will be reshelved and refunded to you, less a 15% restocking fee.

If we attempt to make a delivery to you and you are not home, we are unable to make a positive 21+ identification or the person attempting to receive the order is intoxicated, we will not deliver your order. We will return it to the store, reshelve the product, and refund you for your order, less a 15% restocking fee. 

In any of the above circumstances, if you paid a delivery or transportation fee, this fee will not be refunded to you. If you requested a shipment and gave us the wrong address, we will assess a $15 address change fee, which will be billed to you at a later time.
